Back in 2019 we followed a series in Genesis looking at the life of Abraham. Today we return to the book of Genesis picking up where we left off after the death of Abraham in Genesis 25. Our new series is, 'God's Rascal - The Life Of Jacob.'
The Biblical character of Jacob is a rascal, not in the sense of a mischievous child but in its original sense of being a scoundrel or a rogue. Yet often we find ourselves strangely drawn to such characters. We probably wouldn't want somebody like Jacob as our next door neighbour or as an honorary uncle for our children yet we still can't help pulling for him in all his dilemmas and disasters.
This morning we begin with Genesis 25:19-34. 'The Tale Of The Unidentical Twins.'
