Last Sunday was Pentecost Sunday when believers remember the coming of the Holy spirit in power on the early Church. He, being in a personal relationship with believers, can be "grieved" and "quenched" Paul sets out in Ephesians 4, attitudes and actions that we must avoid if we are to live in a way that avoids causing Him offense. They are:
- Thinking Sensually (4:17-24)
- Acting Selfishly (4:26-28)
- Speaking Sinfully (4:25 & 29-31)
