This wonderful encounter puts flesh and blood on the heartwarming truth that Jesus is the 'Friend of Sinners.' The 'leading lady' discovers that though her sins are indeed many, God's mercy is more, and her experience of God's wonderful forgiveness, overflows in love for Jesus. We'll be reminded that, all have sinned; we'll see again, that love is the fruit, not the root of forgiveness; and we'll celebrate the great Gospel conviction, 'if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.'
